Turren - Brienzer Rothorn high-level path

From Lungern you take the aerial cableway to the Turren. A lovely mountain path leads you through flowering meadows to Schönbüel. Take a break here and soak in the breathtaking beauty of the mountains. The Wetterhörner appear within touching distance, and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are also well visible. It's also worth taking a look at the Central Swiss Alps towards the centre of Switzerland or the Titlis. The hike continues towards the Brienzer Rothorn. Lake Brienz and the Arniseeli and Eisee lakes are all at your feet. In the early morning or in cooler weather, chamois and ibex can also be spotted at close range. Once on the Brienzer Rothorn, savour the beauty of this region once more before take the Brienzer Rothorn Railway down to Brienz. It's then an easy Zentralbahn train ride back to Lungern.
