The Escholzmatt Christmas Market takes place from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the parish hall, on the school grounds, and in the Pfarrmatte gym, inviting visitors to browse, linger, and enjoy the warm atmosphere.
Every hour on the hour, the Escholzmatt-Marbach Music School will perform Christmas concerts in the adjacent multipurpose room—a special musical highlight.
At 5:00 p.m., St. Nicholas will make his entrance and invite everyone to a photo session afterward—a magical moment for the whole family.
For creative minds, there will be snow globe crafts at the youth center, charming gingerbread decorating, fairy tales, and other surprises running continuously from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Hot roasted chestnuts, the cozy raclette parlor, and the St. Nicholas tavern will treat you to culinary delights. Bell ringers, goat bell ringers, and traditional folk music will also set the festive mood.
