What we do

Our goal is to conserve and enhance the uniquely attractive natural environment and cultivated landscapes of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch. We strive to uphold a high level of biodiversity, especially in the habitats of moorland and karst, but also in the agricultural and settlement areas. By raising awareness and educating, we help local people understand the issues surrounding nature; by involving land managers in practical nature conservation tasks and promoting nature-oriented tourism based on unspoilt environments, we add value across the region.
