The Krone, in the middle of the village of Escholzmatt, is an ideal starting point for discovering the region. The beautiful building has a long history dating back to the 18th century. In 1843, the horse-drawn post office was also built next to the Krone arches. The arches are still one of the landmarks of the picturesque village today. The theater hall was built in 1902 and still hosts the traditional November performances of the Jodlerchörli Lehn and Theater Escholzmatt.
In addition to the cozy dining room, the restaurant offers three other venues: Ulmestübli, Säli and Kronenstübli. The host and gourmet craftsman Bruno Duss
places great value on local and fresh cuisine.
The Krone has 3 comfortably furnished double rooms.
