Brothers Finsterwald
The campfire site is located on the hermit trail that leads to the Brüedere Alp, a hermit settlement dating back to the 15th century.
Surrounded by many trees, the spot is ideal for a short or longer break. The short ascent to the small waterfall is definitely worthwhile.

The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch is located in the heart of Switzerland, centrally between Bern and Lucerne. You can reach Finsterwald via the main road 10 in the direction of Entlebuch and from there to Finsterwald. From Sarnen, drive over the Glaubenberg to Finsterwald.

Paid parking spaces are available at the Gfellen mountain restaurant and on Glaubenbergstrasse.

You can reach Finsterwald by public transport via Entlebuch (Bern-Lucerne railroad line). From Entlebuch, take the post bus to Finsterwald "Gfellen".
