It was founded by Canadian Barb Grossenbacher, who combines alpine plant diversity with the traditional art of distilling. Carefully selected plants from the region's wild gardens, meadows and valleys form the essence of the gin. Many of the botanicals are harvested by hand shortly before processing - fresh, wild and full of character. The mystical edelweiss also finds its way into the bottle, symbolizing the alpine lifestyle of Switzerland.
In addition to the production of gin and vodka, Edelwhite Gin also offers guided tours and workshops where interested parties can discover the world of distillation and create their own London Dry Gin.
As an official partner of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, Edelwhite Gin stands for genuine regionality, sustainability and a close connection with nature.
