The hike starts at Schüpfheim station. After crossing the Emme river, hike on the pilgrimage route up to Eggli, where the path follows the road up to Geismatte. Here you continue on the hiking trail to Oberlindebüel farm. The operation by Pia and Anton Schmid is part of the Stallvisite project and offers the School on the Farm program. It is also permitted for hikers to visit the farm. Please observe the information on site. After Oberlindebüel farm, a detour to St. Joseph's Chapel is worthwhile. The chapel dates from 1680 and was restored in 1987. The hiking time to the chapel and back to the hiking route is 30 minutes.
The hiking trail then leads you up to Obstaldenegg. Here a beautiful fireplace invites you to a longer stop. Enjoy the great panoramic view. After the rest break, it soon goes back downhill via Oberberg and through the Luswald back to Schüpfheim. The last meters of the hike lead comfortably along the Emme river to Schüpfheim station. At Sagenwäldli you will find a lovely, extensive playground in the forest.
