Tip

The Glaubenbielen Alp at 1,579 metres above sea level is located on the panoramic road from Giswil to Sörenberg in the middle of a unique Alpine panorama with views over Central Switzerland from Pilatus to Titlis and the Brienzer Rothorn.

Directions & Parking facilities

On the panoramic road from Giswil to Sörenberg, a road branches off to the right at the large car park near Glaubenbielen and leads to the alp. The Glaubenbielen car park can be reached by car or post bus, from there it is a 20-minute walk to the alp. Alternatively, several hiking routes lead past the alp - for example the Obwalden High Trail, from Flühli (LU) over the Sattel Pass or from the Brienzer Rothorn on hiking trails to the alp.
