The route starts at Bergwelten Salwideli and first goes up via Salwidezopf towards Laubersmad. The Laubersmad-Salwidili nature reserve (also called Laubersmad-Salwiden) is with 1376 ha the largest nature reserve under Swiss federal protection in the canton of Lucerne. Enjoy the views of the enchanted natural landscape. The reserve is located on the northern slope of the Schrattenfluh and the Brienzer Rothorn at an altitude between 1060 and 1900 m above sea level and thus also offers fantastic views of the Entlebuch mountain area.
At the Alp Tanniboden you will find a farm kiosk with local delicacies. Well fortified, the route leads back via Hinder-Schönisei and Wagliseiboden back to Bergwelten Salwideli. On this stretch, you will also find two farm kiosks, the Blockhaus Schönisey and the elegant Hofladen Schneeberg, easily recognizable by its charming floral display.
