The easy snowshoe trail starts at the Heiligkreuz pilgrimage church and passes the Restaurant Heiligkreuz and the former convalescent home of the Ingenbohl Sisters. The next section takes you on the path of the Wurzilla fairytale trail through the forest to the clearing. The trail now leads you beside the ski slope up the sunny north slope towards Kleine First. Once you have reached Kleine First, there are still a few, but somewhat steep altitude meters until you reach your destination, the Mountain Restaurant First.

Safety guidelines
Please observe the following points on the snowshoe trails:
- Stay on the marked routes
- Allow enough time and monitor the weather
- Behave quietly, so you might have the chance to see wild animals; observe the animals at a respectful distance
- Your dogs are also allowed to do winter sports with us, but must be kept on a leash
- Take your rubbish home with your lovely memories.
If outdoor enthusiasts respect the space of wild animals, fewer bans and restrictions are needed and the natural landscape remains open for genuine nature experiences. We ask for careful consideration and thank you for it!
