From the valley station of the Brienzer Rothorn cable car, the snowshoe route leads over the Alp Schlacht to the Hinterschwarzenegg hut. Then it continues to the highest point, Blattenegg. Across the Salwideli raised bog area, one reaches the mountain guesthouse Salwideli via Alp Salwiden.

On the Blattenegg-Salwideli trail, in addition to the sporty 8 km route, you can experience the idyllic landscape of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch: The attractive mountain panorama of the Rothorn range and the Schrattenfluh as well as the Salwideli raised bog area are a treat for nature lovers. From the valley station of the Brienzer Rothorn cable car, the trail first leads along the connecting piste and later in open terrain over Alp Schlacht to the Hinterschwarzenegg hut. Between the Rothorn range and the 4-seater chairlift, it goes up to Blattenegg, which is the highest point of the route. Partly alongside the cross-country ski trail, you reach the mountain guesthouse Salwideli via Alp Salwiden. From here, you can either continue hiking to Rischli or take the Salwideli bus to the Rischli station.

By car to Schüpfheim and then turn off towards Flühli/Sörenberg. At the valley station of the Sörenberg-Brienzer Rothorn cable car, there is a large free parking lot.
