On the two-hour adventure route in wonderful nature along the Schonbach, time flies by while solving puzzles and discovering at 20 interactive stations. Starting with themes such as envy, boasting, fear, and homesickness, it becomes clear during the story that understanding, helpfulness, and consideration are much more important for a good friendship. It tells the story of Sol, the wagtail, Lou, the sparrow lady, and Mar, a barn swallow, who, after a bumpy introduction, become close friends and experience various adventures together.
The starting point is at the Bergkäserei Marbach, where both the start documents and the adventure box with necessary utensils (a marble, a mini flashlight, and a water flute) can be purchased. However, the adventure route can also be walked without equipment. Along the way, you repeatedly encounter well-marked experience stations. The grill area "Stäckis" invites you to an extended picnic.
At the destination, the Arche-Hof in Schangnau, many interesting and rare animals can be observed, and you learn a lot about the ProSpecieRara animals. The farm shop also sells homemade products from ProSpecieRara animals and plants.

The adventure route is well signposted from the start. The return trip to Marbach is by post bus from the Grunachen stop. This can be reached on foot in 8 minutes from the Arche-Hof Schangnau.

The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch lies in the heart of Switzerland, centrally located between Bern and Lucerne.
You can reach Marbach via main road 10 towards Wiggen (Escholzmatt) and from there to Marbach. From Thun, you reach Marbach via the Schallenberg.
A free parking lot is available at Bergkäserei Marbach.
You can reach Marbach by public transport via Escholzmatt (Bern-Lucerne rail line). From Escholzmatt, take the post bus to Marbach and alight at the stop "Marbach LU, Post." For the return journey, take the post bus from the stop "Schangnau, Grunachen" back to the starting point.
