The unique adventure trail on the subject of renewable energies is located in the heart of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. The routes lead through varied landscapes between Entlebuch and Finsterwald, partly along the wild Entlen, through forests and past moors.

Ella, the adventure guide for children

Nowhere else in the canton of Lucerne are there as many wood ants as in the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch. As a representative of her species, Ella imparts knowledge about sustainable energy and the special abilities of wood ants. The clever bundle of energy also encourages young explorers to experience energy interactively through exciting experiments:

Equipment

Good footwear, a rain jacket and enough drinking water for the journey are part of every hike. A smartphone to use the QR codes on the platforms and possibly spare clothes for the children.

Directions & Parking facilities

The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch is located in the heart of Switzerland, centrally between Bern and Lucerne. You can reach Entlebuch via the main road 10 in the direction of Entlebuch and from there to Finsterwald.

Parking is free at the Finsterwald drilling platform.

You can reach Finsterwald by public transport via Entlebuch (Bern-Lucerne railroad line). From Entlebuch, take the Postbus to Finsterwald, Kirche.
