An eventful route with views of Risetenstock, Schimbrig and Schafmatt.

The route starts at Hasle train station and follows the signs of bike route 814 throughout. Soon the first climb follows, which you tackle via Büelweid up to Schwarzebergchrüz. After a short stretch, you then descend and immediately climb up again to Schimbrig Bad. The route continues upwards to First with the wonderful view. In the mountain restaurant there is also something delicious for refreshment. The return path leads down to the power spot Heiligkreuz and back to Hasle.

Connection to the Äntlibuecher-route via Flöschen-Stillaub-Gfellen-Finsterwald and to the Farneren-route via Neuhütte-Fankhus-Äbnistetten possible.

Important info / closure of hiking & bike path: The Balmoos in Hasle is a raised bog of national importance and habitat for rare animal and plant species. Peat extraction and drainage have dried out the bog, so that it is now threatened in its important functions as a habitat and CO2 reservoir. Now water retention is being improved with structural measures. During construction work until the end of October 2025, the hiking trail is closed on weekdays during working hours.
